The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade - ICEX and the Trade Commission from the Spanish Embassy in Seoul are organizing the Spanish Wines Expo in South Korea, which will take place in Seoul on 10 July 2012.
The purpose of this Exhibition is to enable Spanish companies to contact importers and distributors from this country to access the market or expand their distribution, in addition to enabling wineries already present on this market to present their products and increase their distribution.
In addition to being a trade event, this Expo is an image and public relations mission. That is why the participating companies must be ready for exports and their products must have a level of quality in line with the established criteria.
South Korea has become a priority market for many wineries, following the free-trade agreement signed last year between the EU and the Asian nation, eliminating tariff barriers for European wines.
The activity described may be financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Funds (FEDER), for which the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade is the executive entity.
